Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up - is the third in the regular season of Pinoy Big Brother, which began on 4 October 2009 on ABS-CBN. Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Gonzalez and resume his hosting duties this season.

There were two types of auditions for this season. The first round of auditions were held a late 2007 in several key cities in the Philippines as well as the cities of Madrid, Milan and Dubai. These hearings also produced roommates for Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. The second round of auditions for this season, and for the third edition of Teen, were held in several key cities in the Philippines and the cities of Tokyo and San Francisco. This one auditioners number 57.824. From these two sets of auditions, it was reported that fifty people were elected by list. A total of twenty-four housemates have entered the chamber, fourteen in the 1st and ten on day 7.

Unlike previous seasons, the house has been divided into two distinct areas, and similar rooms with a shared confession room, but both are designed DIFFERENT WAY - with a house inspired the design of the architecture of Antoni Gaudí, and the House B, with reproductions of paintings by Vincent van Gogh. The housemates also include two pairs of identical twins - with every member of twins in both parts of the house, switching between the two areas at the right time. However, the remaining housemates are unaware of the twins, or the fact that there are two houses. The Twins will also get immunity from nomination for eviction During the night the first proposal, if successful in keep this a secret, but if you show that will be forcibly evicted.

The winner of the new season would get an LCD TV, an Asian tour package, a package of business, a house and lot, and a million pesos. The winner will also donate a million dollars to a charity of their choice, by double-up the first year of celebrity to do so.

This season also marks the return of Pinoy Big Brother UpLate after being replaced by Pinoy Big Brother Über in the second edition of famous and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. It will host Mariel Über While Bianca takes the helm for UpLate.
